Traditional Buhera baskets are hand woven made of grasses from the Buhera district of Zimbabwe. This area is well known for its remarkably rich plant diversity. The baskets were traditionally used to store and carry grains.
Since each Buhera basket is individually handmade there will be slight variation in size, shape and colour, as well as possible woven irregularities. This gives each basket an unique character.
